I am retired from
careers in education, technical programming, technical writing, studio
music production, music, and computer science.
CURRENT LIFE - After Retirement I
am composing again and writing and teaching spirituality related topics.
David has been dedicated to music and spirituality from an early age.
He spent years in spiritual centers and monasteries of many religions and
traveled the world to study in India, Japan and across the US, he spends about
ten percent of his time in meditation. He studied and taught at the University
of Cincinnati for 14 years and has taught meditation to hundreds of students.
His two next two books are:
“Joyous Spirituality: Growing the Divine Spark into the Divine Flame''.
“The Fine Arts as a Spiritual Path” with the premise that the fine arts can
induce states of consciousness as experienced in spiritual practices.
He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of New Thought Unity,
Cincinnati, Ohio, writing and teaching about spirituality and while speaking at
Unity and facilitating the Spirituality Study Group at Unity. He also travels
and teaches at other spiritual centers and leads meditation and spirituality
retreats.
// A Recent Presentation at Unity was //
“Spirit and Soul: Awakening to the Divine Life: a guide to realizing our true
spiritual nature, the Divine Spark and deepening our relationship with the
Divine Being". It uses a Map of the Soul
and a Diagram of Spiritual
Awakening as a framework for the presentation. It will have a guided meditation
and several guided contemplations to deepen our experience of the basic Unity
principles.
