Buddhist Vows

In the Buddha I take Refuge;
In the Dharma I take Refuge;
In the Sangha I take Refuge.
Buddhist Vows I
Living beings are limitless, I vow to save them.
Defilements are inexhaustible, I vow to cut through them.
Dharma teachings are immeasurable, I vow to learn them
The Buddha's path is unsurpassable, I vow to realize it
And become the Buddha.
...
All living beings have Buddha Nature, I vow to save them.
All defilements are delusions, I vow to cut through them.
The Dharma teachings are the Truth of things as they are,
I vow to learn them entirely.
The Buddha's path is inseparable from my own Buddha Nature, I vow to
Realize it and become the Buddha.

The Four Immeasurables
May all beings have happiness and the causes of happiness.
May all beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May all beings never be without true happiness free from suffering.
May all beings abide in great impartiality, free from clinging to loved ones and aversion for others.
