Healing Sound Theory

The fundamental tuning of Western music is "equal
tempered scale" , this mean that every note of the scale is slightly out
of tune with the harmonic
series (except for the octaves).
Equal-temperament was chosen for it's many advantages in 12-note-to-the-octave Western music allowing symmetry in key structures and modulations.
For the most effective healing sound, the pitches are tuned to the natural overtone frequencies using primary mathematical relationships (small whole numbers) such as 3:2, 4:3, 5:4, 6:5,7:5 and all the permutations. This tuning (more closely related to the "Just" intonation systems that preceded equal temperament historically) allows the creation of new "in tune" harmonies. In this system pitches reinforce each other and create more sympathetic vibrations with each other. The effect is immediately and directly felt with added energy in the chakras. So the fundamental harmonic foundation is aligned and enriched. Melodies are then composed on this "in tune" harmonic system and with rhythm provides the actual direction and flow for the music.
Mandala Music & Melody
The sound mandala is "drawn" with these "in tune" harmonies and melodies are created using symmetrical musical patterns that sound like reflections and the symmetry of the mandala. Multiple melodies and harmonies are added to create the multi-layers of the sound environment. These harmonies and melodies are continuously rotating & shifting creating sonic patterns expanding the composition into increasingly more subtle realms.
Some of these large rotating patterns create the background sound mandala (like the next image) and contrapuntal melodic patterns accompany and enhance the main melodic line playing over the sound complex.. image the next image as sounds rotating in multiple circles and mutating in color (timbre and harmones)...
